Still have the Urges to fight Daemons, but for most Guardians, they are not as strong in situations where there is a need to protect something that represents the "good" forces of the supernatural realm, particularly when it involves the Purity Princess.
The Supernatural:
Focus is on the Good, not on the Bad Supernatural. So instead of running around trying to kill off supernatural things, Guardians tend to focus more on Protection and Understanding. In some ways, the arc of the Guardians represents a great mystery, figuring out their great past and then using that to solve a missings persons case in the modern era.
Seals:
The Guardian Dilemna revolves around the sore subject of Seals. In fact, this is what caused the original Guardians to fracture into two groups, the rebels trusting Seals enough to lock not only their attempts to protect the Purity Princess, but also their ability to go into the Guardian-state as well. Trouble was, when these rebel Guardians laid down the seal, they accidentally sealed ALL the Guardian's abilities to enter the Guardian-state, thus locking away the ability from their bloodline. The descendents of these woman still haven't resolved the seal problem. Those who are from the rebel Guardians group tend to want to protect the seals, while those from the other group want to destroy them.
